In FY22-23, the LA County Department of Public Health served 33,668 patients through 54,773 substance use disorder (SUD) treatment admissions. Riverside County, as of March 19, 2018, had between 13,892 and 17,324 individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD) lacking access to local opioid agonist treatments like buprenorphine or methadone.
